From association to Saponification

In the Prelude, as its name suggests, I briefly told you the beginnings of this whole adventure.

But how did this artisanal soapmaking adventure begin?

Once upon a time... (I'm kidding but not completely)...

Once upon a time there was a little Céline, 1m57 tall, who loved experiences. I love to try everything, I started with baking (thanks again to my mother for letting me get my hands dirty as a child!), cooking, sewing and, Love of my Life, music and the piano.

These hobbies were complementary to my professional life. I have worked in several professions (research in the human and social sciences, training, consulting), but above all I spent a good decade working within associations in the social and medico-social sector. It was passionate ! I met incredible Human Beings, both among professionals and among those supported.
We have developed programs to take care of ourselves, to share friendly moments, to fight against waste, to recycle. The projects were great, and I was able to learn a lot over the years.
But it was exhausting, it's true...

My man and I then decided to change regions. The humans and the cat are moving to the South West. I was lucky to find work quickly and to be able to once again support this hypersensitive and touching audience. But I realize that I am tired of this job. I want to continue to develop supportive, humanist values, but in a different way.

I go to see my General Director, and I explain to her that I want to change jobs. She understands (and it made me feel really good!) and asks me the simplest question: “do you know what you are going to do?”. I tell him "no, I don't know"...

In reality, the kg of vegetable oils, molds, recipes, post-its with corrections and above all, all these soaps which are starting to pile up in my house were already a sign of the direction to take.

So all that's left to do is...
